BeautyHarbour.lk, a prominent beauty and skincare e-commerce platform in  Sri Lanka, faced several SEO challenges that hindered its online visibility and organic traffic.  The primary issues included a lack of keyword usage on the homepage, slow website loading  speed, inadequate local SEO, and poor domain authority. Our comprehensive SEO strategy  aimed to address these issues within a two-week timeframe, resulting in significant  improvements in organic traffic and overall online presence. 

Week 1: Initial Assessment and Implementation

Day 1-2: Keyword Research and Content Optimization: 

• Action: We conducted extensive keyword research to identify high-traffic, relevant  keywords related to beauty and skincare products using tools like Google Keyword  Planner and SEMrush. 

• Implementation: We rewrote the homepage content to include these targeted  keywords naturally, ensuring they were integrated into headings, subheadings, meta  descriptions, and throughout the body content without keyword stuffing,  maintaining a natural flow that appealed to both search engines and readers.

Day 3-4: Improving Website Loading Speed: 

• Action: We performed a thorough analysis using tools like Google PageSpeed  Insights and GTmetrix to identify factors contributing to the slow loading speed.
• Implementation: We optimized images by compressing them without losing quality,  minified CSS and JavaScript files to reduce their size, leveraged browser caching to  store some files locally in visitors’ browsers, enabled compression for web pages,  and implemented a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to ensure faster load times for  global visitors.
